The flagging project is fun! You drive a boat on Charles River and enjoy dazzling spectacle of the river, all while doing the important job of collecting water quality data for the lower basin. You will be also inspired by rowers who are paddling around you. In fact, I’m already starting to think about adding rowing to my exercise program!
Tuesday, Liza and I were out for the flagging program. Although things usually go smooth, we face a little problem and luckily, one of BU rowing coaches was helped us and we develop a friendship! Filed work through the flagging program has taught us not only how to run a boat, but also how to troubleshoot its minor technical problems!
Wednesday, Ian and I were out for sampling. Although it was partially cloudy day, the sun comes out occasionally, allowing me to take a number of great pictures of the river.
Look at those gees in a line! Are they sampling too?
